j.wong is a Seattle based singer-songwriter currently playing and touring in support of an EP entitled jwong and the popular butchers, scheduled for released in 2010. He was a founding member of the math-rock band Rand-Univac, which also included James Pants and members of Vellela Vellela. His melodic indie-folk is often compared to the music of David Bazan of Pedro the Lion and Sufjan Stevens.
