7TH ANNUAL EVENT PROMISES MORE AMAZING EXCLUSIVE AND SPECIAL RELEASES AND ARTIST IN-STORES FROM PARTICIPATING INDEPENDENT RETAILERS WORLDWIDE!
Following on the heels of a stellar 2013, which saw the biggest Record Store Day event to date, a Black Friday on which stores reported an average 30% sales increase, and the launch of the Adapter Prize, an awards program putting the ballots in the hands of record store experts, the organizers of Record Store Day are hard at work with participating stores, artists, labels and others and proud to announce the seventh annual RECORD STORE DAY: April 19, 2014.
Many, many more details to come, but we can expect more incredible pieces from upstarts to elder statesmen, indies, majors, everything in between as well as a healthy handful of artist in-store appearances and performances at participating indie record stores the world over.
